4/19/12–Our Final Full Day in Arizona City Before Heading North

Our first task of the day was to get the ATV loaded into the pickup.  Before doing that, I had to bring the ramp in from our outside storage shed.  Once Ken got the ATV out of the garage, I was able to bring the garden trailer into the garage for the summer.

We returned a book to Glenn and Sheila and had a short visit with them, picked up the last of our mail at the post office and returned to the RV for lunch.  After lunch, I had to run into town to complete a couple of errands.  The rest of the afternoon was spent adding antifreeze to all of the sinks, drains and toilets and taking the remaining items to go with us on the road out to the RV and loaded.  We added water to the fresh water tank and Ken disconnected the city water connections and we stored all of those supplies.  We tried to reprogram the tire pressure pro monitors, and that wasn’t too successful, so we’ll complete that later.  Our first night on the road will be at the SKP park in Congress, AZ and Mike and Pat who we originally bought the pressure pro system from are there and we may enlist them  to help us get it reprogrammed.

In the morning, we’ll still need to disconnect the RV from electric and store that cable in the house, disable the garage door, lock the back gate and electric box, hookup the truck to the RV and we hope to be on the road by 9am.
