Sunday morning, May 1st was our departure day for our Alaska trip. We left the Spokane Elks lodge and were able to get through Spokane shortly after the start of Bloomsday 2011 and avoiding heavier traffic.

We spent Sunday night in Omak, WA at the Stampede campground. We had a short visit with our friend, Marilyn, who kindly took our excess supply of items not allowed over the Canadian border.
